Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Wow looks like an American woman just got gold in the shalom. Well, not just now of course. It is about 4:30 AM in Italy, as in everyone asleep.

She was emotional. She lost her father in 2020 and it was hard on her. Now her mom has cancer.

Did you hear that Lindsey Von, the one who busted her leg up, just lost her dog after 13 years? While she was in italy, I think. She is heartbroken.
Oh NOOOOO. That is so sad! It has been a bad time for her. Did she loose her dog before or after she broke her leg? I’m trying to remember if today’s gold medalist had that first name. I think so. It was the shalom.
It was a few days ago, is all I know. And yes, I think it was that race.

I had some kind of shrimp in a butter garlic sauce, maybe lime? I think that came from Trader Joe’s. Then a mixture of veggies from Aldi’s. Butternut squash, beets tiny carrots. Onion. More like a dice. Baby carrots and kale.
That sounds yummy. I’ve had lime on salmon which was good . I have some shrimp I bought yesterday that I’ll cook tomorrow. I’ll try some some lime on it. Veggie mix you had is so healthy. Good girl!

We do. I’ve been there a couple times. I tend to not go because it is across town and in a very busy shopping area. I tend to stay on my side of town.
Most people who live in cities do. Trader Joe’s has a limited number of stores. Aldi’s probably has 2-3 in your city.
julie would probably know. I’m less familiar with Aldi’s. I tend to shop at grocery stores that are closer to me. The main one I go to is Woodmans. It is affordable and lots of selections.
I have been doing Walmart mostly since I got out of the hospital. Before that it was mostly Kroger.
I had 2 white mushrooms too.

I love mushroom cooked and raw. Just the plain ol white ones. Have you ever used the portobellos to replace a hamburger bun?

Was sad to hear actor Robert Duvall passed. What an incredible body of work he left. I read he was quite the Tango dancer too.

I had forgotten that too. When the news showed the scene with him in it, I told myself I want to see the movie again. It has been so long since I watched it. Loved Gregory Peck too. Do you remember Robert Mitchum? I read the other day that he was quite the pot head and even got arrested for it. Such a handsome actor🙂
Oh yes, Robert Mitchum was quite the tough guy too. I just watched him and Marilyn Monroe in a movie the other night — River of No Return. I thought he was so handsome too, as well as the “my hero” guy. I didn’t know he was a pothead, but that is funny! I thought the same thing, I want to watch TKAM again. Gregory Peck was one of my favorites too. So handsome also.
Who is your hero guy? Don’t laugh – I had the biggest crush on Blake Shelton when he was a bit younger and leaner. I actually got butterflies looking at him….lol.
He is cute! My best heroes were Bruce Willis and George Clooney!!
