Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Debbie had asked how my Dad is doing, he was brought to the hospital this morning for blood in his urine, they needed to check him out and now he’s back at the nursing home, he has had a cath in for 3 weeks I don’t know if that had something to do with it, I just found this out my Mom just called me, They got a lot of snow, have gotten plowed out but roads are bad and this is for me-weather report I’m in Dane county. I will call him tomorrow my Mom and brother have each talked to him twice today and its hard for him to talk on the phone, oh and he needs to see a neurologist he keeps loosing consciousness when he has PT, so he also has not been getting his PT

Sorry that happened to him. I went home from the nursing home with a UTI, fell into the door. I knew I was going to fall I could feel my legs disappearing under me and I yelled out I was going down. It wasn’t anything with my mind I totally lost control of my legs. I spent the night peeing all over myself in my chair because I couldn’t get up. And here I am now, doing just fine. Good late morning….I was up for awhile, then laid back down to get some more sleep…it’s a bit cloudy today, high of 60 and possible rain later. I might brush the cats/dogs and work on “doggie homework”…also watch the Olympics this afternoon in case we decide to go out later.
