Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Debbie, I’m sorry but I didn’t ask how your Drs appointment went?
It went well. She wanted me to try another medicine in addition to Orencia. Hydroxychloroquine. I don’t know about it yet, I took my first last night. I’m a bit scared of it there are a lot of possible side affects. But I’ll try it.
How did you feel after taking it? I will have to look this one up
It is hard to know yet but I got up in the night for bathroom and I needed to be extra careful, sorta dizzy. I can’t be sure it was this medicine so we will see. The goal dose of this med is one pill twice a day but I was told to just start out with one. So I’m taking it at night before bed. By now it would be time to take another dose but I’m not, as directed.
Good to be careful, side effect is feeling dizzy, I just looked it up

Just talked to my Dad, hard call- they are waiting for test results from yesterday. They have started him on a anxiety medication, any how he thought my Mom was there or he was at home? he yelled for my Mom to come and get the phone, we worked past that, just told him I love him and I would see him soon that’s all I could say to him. I think the medication might have something to do with his confusion?
I’m so sorry Julie, that had to be hard for you. It could very well be a UTI. That can definitely cause those symptoms. Surely they checked his urine. I would call the nursing home and ask to speak to the nurse. Ask if he has a UTI and if he is on antibiotics. You think that is a no-brained but it isn’t always. When I was in the hospital and not improving Nancy spoke to my doctor and asked if I needed to be transferred to a better hospital. They ran tests when he went to the hospital, did a MRI right away, that’s how they found out he had 2 strokes but no brain damage
I would want to be sure they did a urinalysis this week, not the original hospitalization.
They did that, when he went for the blood in his urine-ran a bunch of tests results are not back yet
A urinalysis would be back but surely they did that and if he has one is treating him.

I thought your Dad is back at the nursing home? It is small. Yes, we dealt with large hospitals. Vanderbilt. In other days, not the one I was talking about, was UK. It is very big. But hopefully you will get some info soon and know more. As far as a urinalysis, those result are in an hour. But the main thing is the health workers know so they are doing what needs to be done. They will get it done! Hugs for you, and then some more.

Good morning…it’s soo windy out, the feels like temp is 5!, brrrrr….I’ll be staying in for sure but we might go out tonight.
