Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. ill give a briefer version of my morning post. It is 29 and cloudy, probably 30 degrees lower than it was. But this is still February. Congrats to the USA for the hockey gold medal! I know what I’m going to say will get me in trouble because hockey is a popular sport. But I have trouble getting into hockey. Just got off the phone, now what? oh lets see, My Dad has no infection so that’s good, and his blood work was good, they visited him yesterday and he had PT and that went really good😍 stuff has been readied for my Dad if he makes it home. But the water heater just stopped working my brother is taking a look at it right now, so that’s all I know about that for now My Mom has a call out to someone about the water heater also

Oh great news Julie! Good he got PT on a Sunday, I seldom did on weekends. Usually someone just came and walked me down the hall. Glad the blood and labs were good. Sorry about the water heater. Seems we usually had a little warning, like the water went from hot to warm. Always something!
hope he gets to go home..if he does, someone might come to the house to see what should be done and give suggestions
