Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I called the nursing home about my Dad he did get moved there but they moved him back to the hospital, the nurse I talked to said he was having stroke like symptoms so I called my Mom and she said he didn’t have another stroke so that’s all I know right now about my Father, I’m glad he’s back at the hospital and my Mom is to

So he went back to the hospital twice within the last 8 days? A week ago Friday and then back to the nursing home, and back a second time to the hospital. He is doing more traveling than me! The hospital will know if he had another stroke.

My ears were burning just now!! 😂💕 We got home about 20 minutes ago. I got Dutchess situated, took my clothes off, and got into my nightgown. So, I went ahead and got blood tests, a chest x-ray and some other tests done, and it seems she has pancreatitis and a little inflammation in her lungs. Both are common in miniature schnauzers and poodles (Dutchess has some of each in her.) Ty Pam. 🤗 It is evidently quite painful for doggies. I could kind of sense Dutchess’ pain as she ran last night and this morning, instead of walking. And she ran for a couple of hours at a time. 😧

Karen I’m sorry your baby is sick but I am thrilled it sounds totally fixable! It must be such a relief for you. Will the antibiotic work on both the pancreas and lungs? You didn’t go to your usual vet, right, but sounds like this is a good one. I know Nancy talks about fixing chicken and rice for her dogs when they aren’t feeling good. Hugs for you sweetheart. Sounds like you had a lot of tests done so they know everything. When you return to your usual vet be sure those results are sent.
Thanks Debbie. I don’t actually have a steady vet right now, because I haven’t been able to find one I like. I stayed with one for a while, but it didn’t work out so good. 🙁 The lungs just have a virus, but the pancreas is infected. So I’m guessing her lungs will just heal heel on their own. 🙏
Yes they will heal, it is probably just like we get respiratory viruses.
Oh Karen Marie what a day you have had, The results sound good for Dutchess you can regulate her food intake no pork for her, It fun to give treats but it can hurt them, now you know what to do for her and her Pancreas can have time to heal and get back to a normal range and her blood work up was good so no under lying things to worry about. She should start feeling better once her pancreas is able to work normally again I agree, Now time to take care of Karen Marie😘
