Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning…I’m the first one here this morning. We had heavy rain and storms on and off last night for hours…after the tornado watch ended I went to bed. DH stayed home an hour later)..so nice of the caregiver, especially since she has to get up REALLY early for her other job. There’s a chance of rain from 9-3 today. I don’t think I’ll do that much but maybe set out a few more spring decorations…doing that a little at a time. Hope you all have a nice day 😘

I’m trying to reply to you Lynn, posting is going wonky, first Good Morning, I fell asleep last night and I didn’t wake up for our storms,we had severe T-storms coming through and I was watching the weather reports and warnings but fell asleep didn’t hear thunder or ir it hailed, have fun decorating today😍
