Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hello…nothing planned for the day…maybe we’ll go out for a bit later but not sure. Sounds like we might have yucky weather tomorrow. I was hot so turned the heat down but now with my head wet, I’m cold so turned it back up and put another layer on 😀 Maybe I should make some more tea, it always warms me up.

One of my favorites scrambled eggs with a sliced up hot dog in it and cheddar cheese and fresh strawberries and a skinny bagel, that’s a beagle that’s not as thick as the regular ones😋 oh and catsup all over the eggs

We had many Wisconsin Eagles nests come down from the wind yesterday😪 no eaglets but lost eggs and nests, I hope they have back up nests and still can lay more eggs

at least there were no eaglets, the nests are monitored not sure if they were able to save any eggs

Good morning Sunshine. I know you are excited about going to the concert. It will be so much fun. I just can’t imagine you in a dress. There will be other things in better weather to wear it. Go for dressing for the season. It may be cold inside the venue too, but I sorta doubt that especially with your hardiness.
