Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The oranges in ardys bread made me remember that : In 1976 me and my mom visited the usa /kansas etc. , we have relatives there. We were there for the bicentennial, too. Mom bought 2 t-shirts for me , they were called ” scratch and smell “. One was “mandarine mac orange” , the other was cinnamon. I liked the orange one. I remember also cinnamon chewing gum “dentyne” or so. I brought this home in 1976, too. No cinnamon gum yet in germany in these old days.

Good afternoon. I guess I have been busy today because I haven’t had a chance to stop by. I walked this morning. Hi Pam…..you cut the oranges in quarters, remove the seeds and put the in the blender with the skin on.
That sure made it easier. Peeling some oranges is hard.
