Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I am so mad at both these brothers, i’d like to knock them into next week! I was just falling asleep when Chuck yells from the kitchen, Who’s on Bill tonight — i did NOT answer; then the next thing i hear is Rick emptying the sink strainer by pounding it on the inside of the trash can, rather than taking a paper towel and wiping it out, like a Normal person would do. 😠 UGH 😠 Remember, i wear a headset so you know they had to be talking/pounding very loudly.
Oh Pam, I have to laugh at this I am your brother Rick because I take the sink strainer and I pound it on the inside of the trash can. 😁

Jo knocks on the window to scare away squirrels and starlings from the feeders. Makes me mad, not just the noise but they need to eat too.
I have a garbage disposal, but use it at the end of the day at one time I was a strainer banger, I am one at my Mom and Dads-for me up there I don’t waste the paper towels guess it would have to be what was in it?
😁. I do Casey’s bowl and the sink strainer that way too, so does Jo. But neither of us take daytime naps. You know what to do when one of them wants to nap.

At least they won, and didn’t loose because of the free throws. That’s a big bonus👍
