Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Congratulations Ardy. You should be proud of your Wildcats. They played terrific. Arkansas did to. My there score was way up in the 80s. That is a great score and usually a winning score. I had no idea any awards were on tonight. Just as well. I just got done doing dog food and I managed to burn some rice. So I wouldn’t have had much time to enjoy it anyway I guess. Oh Karen I’m sorry about the rice. That is so disheartening when you are tired and want to get done and something like that happens. It is hard if you cook rice in a pan to get the water absorbed but not scorched or burnt. A lot easier in a steamer. Good night sweetie, try to relax and get your rest. 🥰♥️
