Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hello…eating a hot cross bun and drinking tea…it’s fish night tonight, think we’re getting it from the same place, K of C since it was so good there..although going to the restaurant would be nice, too. Kind of a lazy day for me..

I used to play Bingo at the K of C Hall in a Catholic church here. Most proceeds went to charity. The folks doing all the work (calling, etc.) did it for nothing. Really nice folks.
My BF (JoAnn in MN) her husband is in the KofC and it’s their turn to do the fish fry so he has been busy this week getting the food ready.
I bet it is a lot of work, but can be fun too.
Colorado got one of the women’s expansion soccer team; Summit FC. The new stadium hasn’t been built yet so they’re using the Broncos’; it holds 76K. The game is tomo and they’ve already sold over 60K — our team could be the record holder for attendees of a women’s soccer team. ⚽💕

If the Flamingos generate enough interest, they could become one of the newest franchises. Colorado is completely sports crazy. 🙄
