Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. My weather is just nuts 😟 The highs were 93 on Thurs, 45 on Fri and back up to 80 today, 90 tomo; had to turn the furnace on this morning to take the chill off.
Up early, laundry done; good grief, almost fell asleep — i really don’t want to take a nap before lunch; that’s just wrong 🙄

Hi Pam, talking about an extreme roller coaster ride. Good grief! I think that is just about the cutest wildlife photo I’ve ever seen. I can’t believe an otter can actually do that! Nature is something else!

Pam, I find myself being so busy throwing the blankets off and on all night, and wearing my sweater off and on all day. It’s weirder than I’ve never seen it. 🤔

Take a photo of all of the ones you sell. You can still “see” them just about as big as they are folded, and you will have the same memory as if you still have them. This strategy is helping me get rid of some things.
I did take pics because i sent them to kyeron. I weeded some out years ago for Rick’s yard sale I sold a few but I know I didn’t get $10 a piece for them so I will make $130 which is not bad considering I have three boxes full of T shirts under the bed that I never wear because most of them don’t fit me anymore and some are sentimental. I agree with Rick. You will probably look at the picture more than you will drag out the box to see the real thing.
