Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning Bella Buds, 73 and nice. I gotta call Verizon, hope I’m not put on hold too long! I just made new hummer nectar for the first time this year. I may see some isolated hummers still migrating but I think stayovers in early June.

Morning Debbie I need to go clean out my Hummingbird feeders and fill them up again because the woodpeckers have been drinking from them too and they drink a lot of juice. We have ours year round as you know

We don’t have many flowers around here but I think lots of people put out feeders. I imagine there are lots of bugs.

Good Morning on this rainy day, its cold right now 34 but will get up to 60, T-storms this afternoon, news just said bigger T-storms some severe. Oh well starting out with April showers. Freezing rain and snow up north. I actually like days like this, reminds me of grade school walking to school in the rain,yellow rain coat umbrella try not to get my books wet. I had to walk a long ways to school over a mile no bus in the city, and I would think lucky farm kids they get to take the bus😂

Good morning, I couldn’t sleep very well last night because of my restless legs. I took my pills late. I tried everything, gummies, rub stuff on them. Then I finally went to Rick’s secret anyway so I didn’t walk. It’s kind of chilly out so I’m outside doing my nails. But I thought I’d share pictures from the garden that are already producing from those little plants

I’ll try to get the letters right. Some THC (hemp) drinks are legal for anyone to buy, but to get the real thing you have to apply for a special medical card to purchase it at KY dispensaries. I would probably qualify on paper for it just because of the rheumatoid. Not sure.

The plants are beautiful. Soon you will have fresh veggies. You could have fried green tomatoes now. They are so good.
Part of the problem is I took the wrong pills at 5:00 which are the pills for my restless legs so I didn’t take them until 6:30 so they hadn’t kicked in by the time I went to bed
So you got even more restless than just your legs because of the legs.

These are very small and we would rather wait until the are ripe, seems later there will be plant of green ones for that, there was last year.
