Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Oh NO Ardy this is horrible. So the money came directly out of your checking account? I’m sure you are on the phone with your bank, police. Oh I’m so sorry. You don’t hear about this often, usually problems are with fraudulent credit card charges.

Oh CRAP, Ardyth! That is terrible news. What a terrible, scary notice to receive. I’m so sorry. I hope you can get it taken care of very quickly. I’m sure you can prove that you didn’t do it. Although no one deserves to get that kind of shock. 😰😱
We just got home. I had to pick up a couple of things at the store, and it ended up being more than a couple of things. Been gone a couple hours.🤯
Hi Karen, you shop later than me. I do about everything in the afternoon. Hope you and Dutchess have had a good day. I haven’t asked about your husband in a long time. How is he doing these days?
Hi Debbie. I do about everything in the afternoon also. We actually had a fairly good day. My husband is doing okay I guess. He doesn’t follow the rules when it comes to medicine or Diet, etc. We are on different schedules, so I don’t really see him too much.
Sounds like your husband has made some improvements. Does he still do nothing?
I haven’t left to go anywhere after dark in probably years. Now I have left in the early afternoon and not got home until after dark, but that usually only happens during the winter when it gets dark so early, or when I go to TN for family things.
It is funny how you and your husband don’t see each other much.
We left at 6:30 p.m. it was still light outside and I still had some umph left. Not any more! We are on entirely different schedules and he likes to sleep during the day and be up at night and I can’t do that any more. Plus, like you mentioned, he doesn’t do anything and that annoys me, so I probably ignore him.
I’m glad you aren’t staying up during the night.
Oh, me too. I used to be able to do that when I worked night shifts, but I was much younger then.
I took D in with us, and she kept me busy. She wanted to inspect everything we walked by. And she was quite tired by the time we got home. But she held up really well and I have to feed her some kibble and then I’m going to bed. I read posts while I was at the store waiting on check out to be taken care of. Debbie, I am just so thankful that she likes the new kibble. I really didn’t know what I was going to do if she didn’t. I have been worried about it since the beginning of this thing that has happened to her. She is definitely a finicky little eater. I would really like to stay up and chat with you more, we’re getting behind. But hopefully, we can catch up tomorrow. I have a few errands to run, but I shouldn’t be gone too long.
