Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Oh, okay, thanks. I thought you were talking about April 20th. I was on a couple of times today, and, although I thought I had checked all of the new stuff, I guess i missed some. Including Deb’s eplanation about April the hummingbird.

My head is very clouded with all the paperwork I’ve done today. Actually, I think it’s really full! I might not be able to hold it up very much longer today.
Honey if you are tired and your head is heavy then you just say good night and go get your rest. Don’t fight it. I know how what you are doing makes your head feel! I do! Just don’t forget to eat!
I ate lightly today. Maybe I’ll eat some toast in a bit.

Checking in I just did this and that today did some cleaning, took a shower, went for a walk and had Jade out for a real walk, she wanted to walk up the sidewalk so we did and then she walked back and up the drive way😍 its a relaxing day I have AI on will make some dinner soon

Good evening…my muscles are kind of tired and just a bit achy. Just got back from letting the caregiver’s dog out, playing with him, feeding him, hanging out with him…he’s crazy! He’s a golden doodle and getting bigger…he just keeps jumping and jumping at you, I put my knee/let up and turn like the trainer showed me, over and over and over..and kept saying “leave it” because he was eating grass, poop, and chewing on a stick and then coughing…glad after awhile he settled down inside…I’ll be tired early tonight, didn’t get much sleep, then tai chi, a walk, the… Read more »

Hi Lynn what a day you had. Did you do tai chi a second time, or are you speaking of last night? Obviously the doggie has not been to puppy class! So it belongs to the caretaker. I’m sure she is happy to have you looking after her puppy. Some of those dogs get really big. You are going to need something relaxing now, maybe a good movie or book.
Tai chi was this morning. actually the dog has been to two classes, where we take ours..he’s just really active, young, and the owner is really busy so he has to be in his crate when she’s gone. I think that breed is known for being like that..she wants him to be a therapy dog eventually.
Cody/Laura have a Labradoodle; he’s sweet, but my goodness, he’s really too big to act like a Jack Russell!

They are sweet, smart dogs and so cute! Bet he makes a great therapy dog. Then she can take him maybe to work with her, depending on the patient.
