Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I spoke to the young guy a bit today (for the first time. He was nice). Dachshund is still a baby -girl, she is called Frieda, the color and pattern of her fur is called merle. One of her parents is merle, too. They go to a “dog school ” with Frieda. He said that a dachshund is very headstrong. She was licking my fingers, lol. Cute dog.

Good afternoon Gabi! Oh I bet that little girl is precious. She sounds so cute. Dachshunds are headstrong I guess. They are harder than some dogs to house break probably for that reason. It certainly is not they are not smart. They are very smart.

I just finished watching American Idol and thought how many live in my stomping grounds. 3 contestants and 2 judges live in the greater Nashville area, places I have frequented all my life. One really lives in Murfreesboro but I lived there 6-7 years, got my BS and MA both at the college, MTSU. Considering we were down to 9 contestants that was a lot.
