Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hello…I set up the agility course today and both dogs did it..Bane went straight for the tunnel, ran through it and then sat in front of me like where’s my treat 😂 …it’s so funny because that wasn’t where I was planning to start, I was starting with the weave poles..he’s a character! I have to say, it looks kind of like a hamburger on a hot dog bun. Except for the wiener, of course. 😃
I am very eclectic. I like to change up combinations. Usually my favorite hotdog would be a grilled dog with mustard, relish, maybe onion. But then, maybe I’ll want a chili dog with cheese and onion. Two very different styles.

It is so neat you have your own agility equipment at home. It has to be fun working with the dogs. Bane just wanted to get the apparatus done and get to the treat! How about Scout? She doesn’t have as much schooling yet as Bane does she. So she might have not jumped into it.

Here I am, late again! I just can’t seem to keep up! I do want to say though that I sure wish I enjoyed walking. I hear great walking stories from some of you, and I wish I could have that. I think I might if it was slightly raining all the time and the ozones smelled really good. But I just get so bored. Especially if I walk the same way every day. Hi Karen. I used to like walking in my younger day, but now it is not so easy. I really loved walking on the beach but that was a long time ago.
Hi Debbie. Walking on the beach sounds like fun. I don’t know if I would get bored with that or not, but I know I would enjoy the feel of the sand and the waves rushing up on my feet. Maybe if different things were going on, I would enjoy it more. Which beach did you walk on?
Several. Mostly Florida and Carolinas.
I bet the Carolina beaches were pretty. I walked on the beach in Satellite Beach florida, near Cocoa Beach, and the pizzas were not very white or beautiful, but they were fun to walk on.
