Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

I have been watching videos the shorts the have on Youtube and they have these videos Did you Know? here are a few
Wow those are all interesting. I knew about the Vicks on feet but none lg\f the others.
I like reading them😍
I knew about all the washing and drying clothes. I use cold water to wash everything
I have seen them in a different format. I don’t usually spend too much time on them, though, because I figure I probably do everything wrong. I will check these out though. 😄 thank you Julie. 💕
I knew just about everything on number one and number three, but nothing on the middle one. I’m not quite as dumb as I thought!
My great nephew was shown last night very briefly on NBC National News! That means anyone in the whole country could have seen him.
Lots of people saw him they just don’t know who he is😜
Why was he on the news, Debbie?
They were featuring the fans at the NFL draft in Pittsburg. They were dressed up as Vikings, as in a Viking fan.
I did see that on the evening Sports, but I didn’t know to look for some vikings.
It was on NBC World News last night.
I’ll watch it on youtube.
He was only on camera for like a second. Most of the segment was about the #1 draft pick Mandoza. But if you want to see just look at the last 5 minutes or so. It was the last item of last night’s NBC news.
Julie, your flower is perfectly beautiful to celebrate Arbor Day; the last Friday of April
Pam thank you😍
What flower?
I met up with a neighborhood lady and her kids at a nearby park, it was fun…going to hang some things on the line now even though it’s kind of late in the day.
Sounds fun Lynn.
I forgot to write a post to you Lynn I liked your post but didn’t say Hello😍Hello Lynn😘 a Park with kids is so much fun I like watching them
My great nephew and a friend are in Pittsburg for the NFL draft.
They made Nashville news too. Sherree took a picture of the tv when the news was on.
that’s pretty cool for them
It was not Nashville news, it was national news.
They look great all done up😘
He wears that stuff when he goes to the games and usually gets shown on the Jumbotron.
That’s why he does it 😎 he’s having so much fun 💖
He is. And he has that kind of personality that draws people. He sorta has what the family jokingly calls his “sugar daddy”. A rich guy who is a member of a fan club Jonathan belongs to. The rich wife has joined in on it, and they do things for Jonathan.
Thats the way to do it😘
How wonderfully, its the largest free sporting event😍they talked about it on the news last night
How cool is this !!!! Woo-hooooo
Julie’s flowers.
Pretty!
pretty, what is it?
I just know it is flowers she planted.
It came from a bulb
It’s like 2 feet tall
That is a tall flower.
I for the life of me can’t remember what its called, when I see my next door neighbor I will ask her what its called again, I do think its a type of Lilly but it doesn’t have a Lilly name. Its out front and people stop and look at it😍
How big is it?
you will find out
Thanks for posting it Debbie its just so cool I had to share the picture😍 I just looked at the picture on the bulb bag and thought it was different. Then to actually see it grow and bloom is the best😘
It is pretty and unique. Like an upside down flower.
Some people just stopped by and took pictures😍
..
I can see why.
it’s a crown imperial
Thanks Deb.
I didn’t know what it was either but if you know how to use the lens feature on your phone you can find these things out
I didn’t even know I had a lens feature.
lol, it’s google lens, when you hit the little camera icon a frame comes up and you can point it at anything, like for say a plant in your house, when you have the object framed up you hit the big circle below the frame and below that it will tell you about the picture and show you other pictures of that object, I hope that doesn’t sound too complicated lol
Thanks Deb, does that work for Apple products?
apparently, it does (I just googled it)
To google I just type what I want in the same place you type a web address. I guess I can find the real google.
I think it’s called visual intelligence on an apple phone
I never go to google.com so probably why I don’t know it.
I tried to do it on google.com but had to download the app and install. Then instead of autofilling the password it wanted me to type it in. I don’t know it as I use my password saver, but I’ll try to figure it out.
Thanks Deb.
Got Kroger and pharmacy done.
😮
Doing good today Debbie😘 the sun just came out might head out for a walk
You will enjoy that.
