Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good afternoon…..not much is new. I did walk and gave myself a pedi and polished my toenails and have been watching the Cocodona 250 all day like I have been doing since Mnday.

I do mine every two weeks, last time I didnt like the polish so I did it in a week.
So I was right, it was sooner, but for a reason.

It was warmer at 7.30a than it was all day yesterday; of course, when i got up yesterday, it was snowing; the sun is shining today. 🙄 Made it to 75 🌞 As cold as it was, the leaves don’t look all curled and dead from freezing. There are lots of Jacaranda’s in town, i’ll have to drive around to see how they fared. This weather is so weird.

Hi Pam you really have had weird topsy turvy weather. Summer in the winter, winter in the spring. I bet those trees are pretty, seems they would not be in Colorado. I would love Chucks cooking!
I certainly can relate to the cat funny! My parrot is like that, worse than the cat! Ive bought all kinds of costly toys. His favorite is a cardboard box.

that’s so funny and I can relate…they love things that aren’t specifically cat toys…a cat I used to have, Bessie (miss her 😥 ) loved to play with bottle caps…and we’d find them under furniture…I still have a little jam jar with her caps in it.

There’s always hair ties/bottle caps and those little rings from milk bottles under the fridge — 😂
