Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. We didn’t talk for about 5 years. Now it’s about once every month or two. I’m fine with it. I don’t know her very well anyway.
Things may be better over time. There was a period of time I never saw Nancy or her kids. We reconnected when I got my computer in 1995, now look at us. There never was any problem between us, it was just we were busy in our separate lives.
Maybe so. One never knows. I’m happy for you and Nancy. It’s nice that you live nearby, too. I really have enough to keep me busy at the current time anyway. Not too much time for socializing.
We live 2 hours apart. How far is your granddaughter?

Good evening….we went to the vendor market and talked with our friends…bought a vanilla lavender scone, dog treats, and a scrubbie…walked around there, came home..and later went to a restaurant we haven’t been too in years …a family style restaurant…I had the chicken cobb salad…it even had avocado and bacon on it, yum. Relaxing now, tired..

I have had turkey bacon and avocado and bacon and avocado go together I just don’t eat regular bacon I don’t like that its greasy and that goes back to when I was a little kid

Hello!!! I went to early church. It was 80° at 8:00 and 100° now. The house is VERY warm!!! Then I went to Walmart. I was worn out from all the walking in the new store since I am not familiar with where everything is now. Beeping the horn doesn’t make you a jerk-it lets people know your there. You can beep your horn by accident too, my Mom does that alot its where the horn is on her stearing wheel she puts her hand on the spot and beep beep

I was in the parking lot ….walking to my car where cars drive but that is where you push your cart to your car.
That guy beeped his horn not as a warning but because he is a jerk. Ardy stopped because she thought he would hit her, then she proceeded to go on. That is when he blew. He knew she saw him, he was mad because she didn’t motion for him to go. Drivers are supposed to yield to pedestrians. I bet she was in a stripped area.
That was a funny part of the movie, for sure.

Ardy..I know someone who moved to AZ for a year or so and moved back to IL..too hot and she didn’t feel like she could do anything because of the heat.

It is Julie, I had NO idea how hot it was when i moved here but it was my choice. I fell in love with the desert as a kid in the winter when we visited.
Well it is very hot here and she is right but growing up in MN. it 😄 is cold and snows and i wouldnt be able to go out then so it’s one or the other…..I choose AZ.
I get it..but…there’s in between MN and AZ, too 😀 my sister is in southern IL and it’s usually 10 degrees warmer than here, sometimes I’m jealous
lol Lynn I thought this was funny. My cousin that lived in MN has a daughter in Southern Iowa and she told her mom she couldnt live in MN again because it was so cold. I doubt Southern IA is that much warmer but it must be enough to notice.
