Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Thanks Pam, I didn’t give it a thorough cleaning but it was still good I could do it. I am definitely a lot better and it happened quickly it seems. I think it is the medicine I’m on. Also the medicine I’m no longer on now.

Chuck did the 1st mowing of the season then removed the cover from the A/C compressor today as we’re beginning a window of toasty weather, 88-95 through next Sunday. Thinking it’s time to store my big comforter cuz now it’s in my way and starting to annoy me.

Hi Pam you are productive today. I’m going to scramble some eggs today. I haven’t scrambled eggs in a long time, have mostly boiled them. Our grass nas been cut I guess 3 times? I can’t believe you are going to be that hot so soon. That is hot for May for you, isn’t it? I still have an electric blanket on my bed. I gave up zoo kids 40 years ago! Hummm. Really I don’t know if I ever had them. 😂
I still have a couple blankies on the bed, but the comforter is just too over the top and needs to be put away til Nov!

Rick has to have “soft ” food so he is making eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy for supper.

Good afternoon…DH is home for lunch and staying..he just didn’t want to stay there in is office..so he’ll work here for awhile and later we’ll get flea/tick meds at the vet and go to an out of town visitation. Back to laundry…

I will do early primary voting later on this week. The other party has many offices to vote for, many candidates. They are US Senator, US House of Representatives, County Judge (an administrative position, not judical), County Clerk, Sherriff, Magistrate, District Judge. The underlined ones are the only ones my party can vote for. Why? There are no candidate in my party for the offices not underlined, and in the primary you can only vote for most offices within party. I wish I could vote for all the offices. It makes no sense to me that Sheriff is partisan when it has to do with enforcing laws. Magistrate is nonpartisan which involves more or less deciding how to spend money The two parties are really about the difference in philosophy about little government vs big government, which is spending money. So why is magistrate nonpartisan and sheriff partisan. Do you have to vote just within your party for a lot of offices in WI?

Niece Sherree’s first husband’s parents put on what they call a “family formal” every year. They include all of Sherree’s side of my family even though just one of Sherree’s children was fathered by these in-laws. I don’t really remember/know the details of how this got started. It inludes the babies up to the 40 year olds.

None are much over 40 except Sherree’s ex-MIL. I think she is the one that originated this idea. She is so,ethereal around my age or Nancy’s age.

Good morning….doing laundry today…DH decided to work in the office today instead of at home. I’m doing laundry now, after that, this and that. No wonders, though, lol….we didn’t go to tai chi, not last week either…last week my mom had hurt her hand over the weekend and today I was tired and she has enough going on, lunch and later a visitation…and then the AI finale tonight!! BBL
