Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. It was 77 for the low and 92 now at 9:36…….It is hot I must say out there, the house is Ok for now, this afternoon it will be warm to hot inside.
I walked at 5:00 AM. I have cleaned the entire house, washed and dried lots of loads of clothes. I changed the litter box and filled my pill box.
Chuck and Wendy are coming at 10:00 for haircuts, mine was yesterday and I cut Kurt’s too…..haircut week I guess.
Our new bug rug is our for delivery today.

Good Morning Bellas, I’m up have coffee its raining and I’m so glad about that, we were really dry and needed rain like the rest of the country. Have guy’s coming to look at the roof today for hail damage the next door neighbor had a guy look at his roof and the roof actually had holes in it from the hail. Good morning Sunshine, but I think Sunshine is cloudy today. It is good Bruce is having the roof checked. When I saw your pictures of the hail, especially the one where you showed the indentation of the hail in the ground, I felt strongly you might have hail damage. If you do, best to have it repaired now. Not repairing it can lead to more expensive repairs later on. Plus insurance will be less likely to cover the damage if you wait to long. You can’t really see if there’s damage unless you get up there and look at it. So all these roofs getting looked at and I have not seen anyone’s getting repaired?
Maybe the companies want to access damage first. Could be they have people whose job is to access and talk to insurance, not actually repair. Or maybe the big insurance companies have their own employees who do this, and send those employees to different cities that have been hard hit. Jo once had an insurance claim on her roof. I think the insurance adjuster came first, before the roofers.
That makes sense, but they were looking at roofs right after the storm, lots of different companies were doing accessments its almost been a month. They were fixing the roofs over at Walgreens and the Dollar store, so I’m going on what I have seen walking around
Business may have different adjusters, it is usually a tar roof.
They were putting big sheets of insulation up there, looked like they were putting on new roofs
I think they line the roofs with some kind of sheets before they put the tar down.
Thats what I saw!!! do they use tar still? I looked it up and they do roofs with a membrane now and just use tar for patches and to seal joints
That is good for the roofers.

Good Morning Debbie, I’m doing good I haven’t talked to Judy she didn’t answer her phone so I just left a message. I also called Judy’s Mother wasn’t able to talk to her either so left a message-maybe they have gone to church?
Is it customary to go to church under these circumstances. Are they Catholic?
Yes and Judy’s Mom would want to be with her church friends,plus I don’t know if there’s going to be a service for Gary? and the church Judy’s Mom goes to is in another town so there’s travel time involved also
Judy’s mother may really want to have a funeral mass, especially if she is devote. And she is older, for her age group tradition is more important.

I’m not sure which contestant was the best, all three were very good. Maybe it depends on what genre a person likes best. All three will probably be able to make a good living singing. Some of the others too.
