Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good afternoon, it’s 103°. They say it’s probably a record breaker today. I got my haircut at 9:00 this morning and then Kurt called wanting his haircut so he came over at 11:00 and I cut his hair. It was quite warm on the patio that’s for sure. Then I did some more laundry. My feet hurt so I’m on the bed watching TV for a while. Rick stopped by the dentist this morning. He gave him x-rays. Hi Ardy, hope your haircut is OK. Boy you are quite warm! I feel for Rick to have such pain. Wish the dentist could have done something to help the pain. I know all about crowns, I have 5. Two since age 11 that have been replace several times. His whole mouth must ache, otherwise he could just chew on one side. Poor guy.
He said it only hurts when he chews.
That helps. Eat creamed soup.
He made creamed potato soup last night….yogurt for breakfast…plenty to eat
Eggs sound really good! I’m glad Rick can at least eat some things. Often it hurts to eat anything when dental things happen.

Hey Ardyth! Eggs are soft and filling; he can kinda just swallow them. Thank goodness it’s only for a couple more days — he’ll feel better once those things are fixed

Judy’s brother just passed away about 15 minutes ago😪💔 he’s not suffering anymore. It just seems so unreal that he’s gone. Bye bye Gary we will meet again 💖
