Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. So many have come to rescue the Beagles and are now fighting for change, the change has to come from our government. They can stop the use of animals for research. JFK can stop it but is showing no interest in doing so😪
There wasn’t even a reason for the abuse in the breeding facility. That was pure greed, they were not doing research. They could have at least had their dogs in grassy fenced in enclosures during the day in decent weather, but that would have been more labor intensive, cost more.

Busy morning……I walked at 5:00am. It was 73° and perfect for walking. Then I washed one bedroom window inside and out, one left to wash. I wash the storm door windows, front window and dining window on the outsides. Did a load of clothes, fed birds, etc. Now my leg really hurts so I am done for the day.
73 is perfect. You are lucky to have nicer windows that you can wash..I would more often if I had ones like that.

We had the original single pane when we moved in for years and they shook and wind blew in so a few years back we got new double pane windows.
