Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Rick bought off brand Velveeta cheese the other day so we had macaroni and cheese which was good but it really wasn’t that good on our grilled cheese tonight. I would have rather had cheddar cheese anyway. I’ve never heard of onions on grilled cheese. I’m sure that would be good. Nice bag full of stuff. Julie, good night
😍 Velveta is not cheese its a cheese product, it has milk in it but is not classified as a natural cheese. I agree cheddar is the way to go😋

Good evening…DH worked from home today…in the afternoon, he had to work on cemetery stuff..he’s at the meeting now and will take the dogs out and then leave when he gets home. I didn’t do much, just a couple small jobs and took the dogs for short walks. I want to get back to longer walks before it gets too hot….and I just need to do things I really enjoy, they help me..I’ve lost a couple friends lately, another one is moving and the usual stress. When I first moved here a lot of residents, especially older ones, put one hand on top of the steering wheel when they drove. When they met someone, they lifter the fingers all up, sorta like a wave. They didn’t have to know the person to do that, it was just a friendly gesture. I told my Dad about it and he was amused!

Started going thru old photo albums; tossing pix of scenes and people no one ‘cept me will recognize. The DBs are having a good time looking thru the kept ones. I want to bring some of the better ones with us on Friday; there may be time for the family to take a look-see. 💞
Hi Pam!! How many albums do you have? I have shown these before but I have 70 albums from when I was young up to 2011 and then all my albums are online. I would have more room if i did what you are doing but….A LOT of work.

It won’t be painful driving, but i’ll have a heckuva time getting out of the car. 🙄 Chuck and i will probably stop in Pueblo for some lunch; we usually have our big meal around 1p. I cannot go without food for long periods of time without getting dizzy.

It is pretty hard for me to stand up when I get out of a car, but a little better now. I always say give me a minute to get my land legs.
You might do better with a butt high SUV seat. Easier to get out of. Then stand and hold on to the car for at least a minute. Chuck can wait! Just tell him I said St. Chuck can wait!
Good afternoon ladies. I am just stopping in for a minute to say hi. I have been under the weather since sometime yesterday early morning, it was still dark.. turns out I had an asthma exacerbation and felt like I was getting pneumonia. I started taking all the usual meds. I’m feeling a little better now.
