Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Its beyond the sheriff- FBI has taken over as far as I know
There was talk that the sheriff waited too long to call in the FBI in the very beginning. But local people may feel different, they are in a better position to know.

They didn’t talk about it as much in the beginning. But it has been said if they had called the FBI as soon as they knew she was really missing, the FBI with their more advanced techniques may have been able to do something when the case was still hot.
I didn’t hear anything about it, but there are always the blaime game with crimes

He said he called them the next day……the opposite party was trying to get him “fired” but it was overturned.

Sounds like not much was made of it locally.
I suppose you have to figure out what’s going on before you call for help, that surely would take 24 hours. By this they started searching for her within 12 minutes.

Good late morning…..didn’t get here yesterday but I read the chat…I just call all the beans with strings, string beans..but they are work, lol so haven’t got any in quite awhile..used to get them at farmer’s market sometimes. I soak produce in vinegar water, then kind of rub them and rinse off…I used to use the veggie wash from the grocery store, might see if they have any..I like that you can get it in a spray bottle like for apples and things like that. Good morning Lynn. I guess I think just soaking is good enough. The vinegar is a good idea. Probably the sprays have a similar active ingredient as the cheaper vinegar. Just buy a spray bottle and use your vinegar. It is good your husband can do things like go to a store on a work day. I really dont think we do much washing of fruit and vegetables…Sometimes I rinse an apple off.
I don’t either. It is easy to run some water in the sink, so I do it.
ohh…I do a lot of it, so important I think..although mostly I do get the organic farmer’s market stuff…when I use the veg wash I scrub with a brush, too ..with berries I think it’s really good to soak them in vinegar water, you can also add baking soda, or veg wash ..too many germs and pesticides, you could get sick
I think the real danger is pesticides that literally grow into the food as it develops. You can’t wash them off.
We have never gotten sick….I guess things dont scare me…we rinse them under the faucet, good enough for us.

Good morning Bella Buds. Our cloudy weather will last several days. Today is the coolest day, we are about 67 degrees. Don’t know what I’ll do today. Shower and fix Casey a rice dish. It is in a bag this time, but I cut up extra veggies, I want about half veggie to the rice. He gets a pasta like this in the mornings, a rice for supper. I do t know if these shoes are the only ones she likes, or the only ones she has. But good grief, do you have to wait for shoes to be dangerous to get new ones. She needs new clothes to. She has lost weight and her clothes are too big.

Sorry I skipped out tonight. I wanted to see the finale of Survivor. Even tho it was being taped, if I didn’t watch it as much as possible live, I would probably know who won before I could watch all of it. It was 3 hours long! So I got to zoom through commercials, but I had to stop the tape to get Casey’s supper, get my supper, put food away, bathroom, stuff like that. I finished finally about 10:20, maybe 10:30. I knew he made that mistake before he knew he made the mistake! He said the problem with live TV. He said what was originally planned to say, but forgot it had been changed. See, you found out about the show I’m sure by accident. That would have happened to ,e if I had not got the show watched last night.

During the live show they were showing on tv the last two days of the competition. In other words showing the last two days on Figi on live tv in CA. He interviewed Rizo on the live show, then told him to sit down on the jury. So everyone knew Rizo lost the fire challenge, even tho they had not aired that segment of Figi yet. So he put basically put the cart before the horse.

I knew the winner last night. I’m happy she won. I wish Joe had at least got votes. He is a terrific guy. You would have rooted for him if you saw all he did the last season he was on.
