Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Lynn, I watched the whole thing, and then,, I went to another channel and watched it again! I bet that was so much fun doing the agility stuff with Bane. I kind of do it on a small scale with D, but it’s not the same.

Julie called. They are having turkey, dressing, baked corn, green bean casserole, Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, gravy, pumpkin and apple pie, rolls. Going in to open some fancy sounding semi-sweet red wine. They have watched the parade, got the Packers on now.

Been watching the parade; lots of great floats/bands. The animatronic turkey was incredible.
Turkey in the oven at 9.10 — good thing i gave it a cold water bath at 10p last night, got up at 5a and put it in the fridge, there was still a block of ice in the cavity, but easy to get out.
