Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Debbie, I just saw your msg about the gorillas. One of the troops i follow the closest is “Monta and Momoka.” Monta is 39-41. He is a silverback who has been raised almost enirely in solitude. Momoka is a young female, 13 yrs old, raised by the Haoko troop in Japan.. She is a very young adult, who has fallen for Monta. They live alone at the Chiba Zoo in Japan. Thanks Karen I will explore some of the videos of the couple. I hope they are successful in creating a family. Sad that Monta has been raised in solitude. That just isn’t right. Gorillas are social. I appreciate you answering. I copied/pasted that into my notes app so I won’t forget.

The household hummingbird and the messed up Dr appt that worked out perfectly. Seems there was something else, but i can’t remember.
I know about the hummingbird but I’m not sure about the messed up dr. Appt. Seems I remember….i read it early this morning but forgot.
She arrived at her appointment which had been scheduled for months, but was not able to see her doctor, because he was not there.
Oh no! Does she know why?
I don’t think they ever told her where he was or when he was coming back. She got to see another doctor, a female. She had great success with her, but she still wants to go back to her other doctor, whenever he comes back.
I did a dive just now and found Ardy’s post about the doctors and the hummer IN the house! This visit to the doctor probably was for the best. Ardy really needed those things taken off sensitive areas so it was good she got the female today. They will biopsy the pre-cancerous things and that was definitely needed.
