Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good Morning Bellas storms will hit this afternoon, up north is getting nailed right now-looks nasty on radar. I will have a chance to move pots and things into the garage tomato pots up against the house for protection. I have a plan. The wind aloft will be at 150mph that’s perfect for large hail that has me worried.Its sunny and peaceful right now-temps rising will turn the AC on. Looking at your parents radar, it doesn’t look like the worse part will make it as far north as them. Hope so, they got enough on their plate. Watch your back today. Prevention.
It won’t be that much work, there’s not a lot to do, Up north they had the early part of this system go through-they deffinatly got storms this morning. We are in the bullseye I think there’s no chance of a miss with this one, but I’m hoping for no bad wind or hail or tornados. I warned the folks who have the taco truck that this was coming so they can be safe and maybe not be in the taco truck-van when this hits.The last hail storm they were in the truck when that happened.
The bullseye is for the whole state

It is hot tonight! I have an appointment on Thursday to have my car air conditioning fixed. Hello…just caught up on the chat..I actually have one of those cute things you tie around your neck, mine has owls I think..has little beads inside..you soak it for a few minutes and store in the fridge..I’ve worn it at the music in the park before. We went to a fast food chicken place for Tenders Tuesday, then the farm store for dog treats and cat food and nuts..the to FIL’s for a short visit…time to relax..
and Julie, no the dogs aren’t jealous of each other… and she just doesn’t want to go places, gets anxious.

You could make an ice cube necklace. Just string a string from one little compartment to others in water in a tray and freeze. Walla! Of course you may need to either sit outside or in the bathtub. 🤣

Storms not going to hit until the afternoon so I don’t have to move things tonight to safe spots or figure out how to cover some things I can put plastic chairs over some plants for the hail but baseball size would break the chairs🙄 it’s going to be a crap shoot tomorrow just handle it warning by warning
