Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I’m home just as the storm hit the sirens went off while we were in Aldes, got wet unloading the car.I have food😋 got the usual things plus veggies, I didn’t get oranges they didn’t look good to me-they were greenish with brown on them. I got some great looking😍 plums. Had one big gust of wind I told Judy to get in the car twigs were fly through the air. There is a tornado warning right now. Oh Julie I’m sorry you couldn’t get home and unloaded before the storm hit. Do you know Judy made it home safely? Well, it is done, you got food, and you will dry. Now rest, take care of yourself and Jade.
I just talked to her she’s home, they changed the time of when it was going to hit to 3 pm but it was a fast moving storm and hit just before 2pm and that’s what they said first this morning. It was weird being in Aldes and every ones phones were going off at the same time😜 so glad I got things in the garage this morning The temp has dropped from 92 to 67, cooling off nicely😃

The coast won’t be clear till after tomorrow- there are power outages I will find out more with my local news-thats on a 4

Going to get stuff done outside-don’t want to put it off
Good morning Bella Buds. Warm and humid. I’m doing good so far after 2 days of shortness of breath. Hope I keep it that way. Today I have usual chores and working on my fans. Good morning Debbie, cleaning the fans is a lot of work but it does make them last longer. Got another cup of coffee going to turn the AC on-heat is rising so I want to stay ahead of it in the house
