Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Yesterday we called our neighbor trying to find info about a veterinarian we are thinking of taking Macie to instead of the Cadillac vet. The neighbor said she had just fallen out her door, thought she broke her ankle and an ambulance was on the way. We tried to call the neighbor last night with no answer. A car pulled into the driveway and Jo got in the car to see if she can get the low down. I hope it is her daughter.
I hope she didn’t have a bad break, maybe just a sprain? I hope Jo knew who it was she got into the car with.
Jo drove my car over there, she didn’t get in the car with anyone. It was a bad break. It will be hard for her. She is a diabetic, has a bad kidney or kidneys, and is overweight.
I’m tired mostly because cooking and doing for Casey.

Good morning Bella Buds we have nice day. 80, 60% humidity so nice so far. I woke up about 6:q0 this morning. Tried to go back to sleep but couldn’t so got up a little before 7. I’m wide awake so guess I got enough sleep. I don’t know what I’ll do today. I have two more fans to clean which takes a good while. I have some things to cook for Casey. Maybe us. I only put a bra on if I’m going some where-they are to hot some times. I have one sleeveless shirt I can where w/o a bra on, I wear that when I’mgardening or working in the yard it makes a difference and makes you feel cooler. I sleep with my hair in braids and forget to rebraid them sometimes I have gone to the dollar store looking a mess and have had people hold the door for me like I need help then I get home see my self in the mirror and its like no wonder I do… Read more »

Hello……………It’s hotter than heck!!! The humidity is rising and the temp was 83° at 5am when I walked. I am literally sweating.
