Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Julie heard a boom and now has no power nor anyone on her street. She has reported it. After the boom she heard sirens so maybe a car hit a pool. She can’t chat until she has power because no WIFI.

I don’t follow the World Cup, but i’d have to be blind to not see any article headlines. Anyway, Cape Verde, a small African country at their very first Cup, had a draw against powerhouse Spain. Spain is favored to win the whole tournament. With a draw, both teams were awarded a point; so happy for Cape Verde. 🤗

As far as I know a draw in soccer is a 0-0 score.
It can be any tied score such as 2 – 2 😀

At some point in the World Cup they can’t end in a tie. In the knockout stage they can’t end in a tie and if it is still tied after overtime it goes to penalty shootouts. Best of five and if still tied goes to sudden death. I believe that is right but I could have some of it wrong.

Hi Becki, i always cheer for the underdog too. Cody’s middle son, Keegan, has a soccer scholarship to Heartland in IL. He’s playing semi-pro this summer in Colo Spgs & as long as he doesn’t get paid, his scholarship is intact. I’m sure those guys are teaching him as much, if not more than, the college coach. 🏐 I know he’s having fun.

We had thunder lightning and a light rain most of the night.
Rick was able to do the swamp cooler early between rain. The AC is on now.
It’s raining harder earlier. And there was a palo verde beetle in the house this morning!! Yuck
Ardyth good morning, what a cool beetle😍 they are usually around the Palo Vede tree and they spend 4-5 years under ground before they come out to mate they are like fireflies they come out of the ground.Can you imagine that bug there could be 5 years old😘

It is a stretch for her, I don’t know if she can see it, but she knows it is there. The mowers just got here, so I will be smelling freshly cut grass. I love it. I’m starting my second cup of coffee.
