Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

I still have posts from the 13th showing up on my screen. Usually at the top, but not always. ???
If you reply to a old post it will bring it to the top I believe?
And the longer ago it was, the harder it is to get back to new posts at the top.
Vewy vewwy twue!!! 🥰
😄
Not for me. It leaves it in the basement, I think.
Watching Rachel’s show. Never seen her so down.
I’m watching Rachel too. The segment, “This is why we can’t have nice things” can be depressing.
Oh yeah. Have to hear it though. 😐
I have lost all track of time, with the power being out. Need to go get some allergy pills so I’m popping out for a bit
I had a power outage need to find out why? just heard a big bang and it went off, I think a car hit a pole with a transformer on it?
Again?? Or did the msg repeat?
My utility companies sight,
So you are okay?
Oh yes I’m fine😘
😀😄😅
I can’t find out why? the sight hasn’t been up dated
Probably a car like you said, happens here often
Hope so.
Yes your right😃there was a big Boom, and then the power went off car or a squirrel got fired, they can cause outages here. Just thought about the squirrel thing
Julie: Primrose

These flowers are from up north My Grandma gave some to my Mom and I got some from her, its like 3 generations of flowers

You said it well.
Ty. I know you were thinking the same thing.
I was. The seeds probably came from Europe.
Oh my! That is super special.
Beautiful!!! My birth month flower!
Oh Karen Marie they really are beautiful, glad I sent the picture to Debbie😍 they are special and every year I can’t wait for them to bloom
I can imagine. I would be the same way. A warm, cozy feeling I bet.
Hello…dont know much…..Mike and Jamie came by to pick up moms sewing machine.
The house is cooler, bummer having to keep the doors closed. Got my free animal print shower curtain.
I’ve never seen a machine like that. Wow. Cute curtain.
My sister was going to donate it so I wanted JAMIE to have it.
I’ve never seen one either.
😅
Very nice.
Its just a sewing machine😅
True. 😅 But it’s really different looking. It’s not made of wood is it?
I’m not sure. Maybe it came from Switzerland. It looks like a collectors machine.
Thats a awesome sewing Machine, it can do a lot of different stiitches😍
Yes it had a lot of attachments
Vikings are the best sewing machines
I have a portable Montgomery Ward sewing machine from 1972. First thing I went in debt over, at $7 a month. Probably can’t compete with a better one, like Viking or Singer, but it still runs like a jewel. With a beautiful stitch. 🤣😅
Julie has power now. I’ve been working on the last dang fan.
I need to take my table top fan apart, its a pain tho
Some of mine are harder to put back together than take off. And these fans are awkward and can get heavy.
mine is small. Michi lays in front of it and hogs my air!!!!!!!!!
get two.
I’ve never taken a fan apart in my life. I just buy $20 box fans whenever I need one. These must be some great fans you guys have that I’ve never heard of. 🤣
They are just basic 18”, or one is 20”, high velocity floor fans. They generate more air movement than a typical box fan.
Ok, thanks. 😘
Debbie! Stop that. Take a break!!
🤣😆🥰. I’ve got the hardest part of the last fan done!
Don’t hurt yourself. Take it slow.
I did I’m good.
Glad to hear. Are you done?
I’ve got to oil/let sit/ run/ repeat. But that is easy. Then clean off any oil that might have sprayed out. On the wire.
Ok. I know nothing about them, so I’ll take your word for it.
I really don’t. I just sorta thought this is what I needed to do and it seems to work. We threw away a lot of fans that quit working until I developed this plan.
Probably saving a good amt of money.
