Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I bought a cooler tote for when we go to groceries out of town. It is fairly good sized, called a 35 can cooler. We lost our best cooler for this purpose. It was a plain styrofoam cooler I’ve had for many years that Omaha steaks were shipped in. The foam was like 2 inches thick.
That looks like a nice bag. Nice and sturdy
It should help. The problem with regular coolers is they don’t bulge even a little. I’ve had a box of something that if I had one fourth inch it would fit. In a bag you can get it to bulge a little to better utilize space.

Hello…back from petsitting and we’ll take Bane to the farmer’s market soon…might get some lettuce and DH sometimes buys an onion or two but we might still have some in the pantry..also I’ll get something to eat like a scone or fritatta. The dogs will be outside a lot today (the ones I’m petsitting ) because it’s supposed to rain tomorrow…music in the park tonight.
