Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning Bella Buds, really nice outside today. My trip to Somerset was good. Jo saw the eye doc while I took my car for service. One tire was only 10 psi. It had been plugged, but they could not find an air leak. He told me to just watch it, bring it back if needed. I won’t for this problem, I’ll take it to our tire place. Last night I was talking to Nancy on the phone and looked out the window. It was dusk outside, but light enough I saw it! A deer was in the front yard! We rarely see deer, but when we do they are moving on, just cutting through. This deer was walking around slowly. Then I saw why. Good Morning “Sparky⚡” coffee clinks glad you got the plums if they are really firm let them sit out a day to ripen. The savoy cabbage I usually chop and saute’ it. It has different leaves as you can tell than a regular green cabbage, I wouldn’t cook it whole like you do with the green cabbage. Have a great day😘
Maybe I will try the sauté version, I haven’t done that since the early 80’s when I cooked some cabbage Thai style. I usually just cook it in a little oil, chicken broth in the microwave, the whole cabbage. Maybe add a dried herb. Then I freeze so,e of the cooked cabbage for a quick veggie another time.

I saw my cicada and was glad it was dead…they scare me!!!!!!!!!!!! But they are a sign that the hot temps are here.

There was a show that came on 8-10 CT on MS NOW called Hope Comes Home: Inside the Obama Presidential Center. We missed the first 45 minutes so I searched to see if it repeated. It does from 11 PM – 1 AM CDT. I set it to tape so I could see the beginning. If you are reading this tomorrow you can check out that channel and see if it repeats any more .

Back from cruise night and petsitting..raining now..I bought a walking taco and DH got two hamburgers and shared with Bane…saw a couple people that used to go to my church and my mom and her friend. I replied to Julie’s post below about the cat guy.
