Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. 💖 Happy Father’s Day 💖
My Dad was raised in an orphanage & family was everything to him. All the silly holidays we ‘celebrate’ during the year: Donut Day, Cat Day, Dog Day, Vanilla Milkshake Day, (his fave) etc, etc. would have served him well. Absolutely any excuse to get the family together. He’s been gone over 40 years and I still miss him every day.

Then instead, you talked about how your Dad embraced them all, because he loved his family and just wanted a reason to be with all of you. Oh Pam, you touched my heart and now I’m snotting. I just cooked some pasta I’m making like a shrimp scampi pasta, I start with a basic recipe and add to it I’m putting artichoke hearts in inI just saute’ the shrimp, scallions, fresh tomat, garlic, wine then toss that with pasta😋I used to cook like this at work its a fast easy pasta dish to make. I’m using what I have oh I will put some chopped fresh parsley on top and red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese I don’t have fresh lemon but I have a lime so I will use that when I cook the shrimp
