Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Yes I gave her the pepper and a little potatoes. I didnt think she would eat a cooked bell pepper until I gave her one yesterday
Hope it doesn’t make her sick.
hope not too..I always have to look it up, see if dogs can eat it but don’t remember those being on the list
Watch the people food or you know what… but peppers are a ok food for dogs have a lot of good vitamins in them😃
Good morning. I’m already hot and tired. Once again. I’ve done too much. I washed the outside of the picture window and the inside and outside of the storm doors since they were a mess from the rain. Fed the bird, fed the animals fed the hummingbirds. I also cleaned one room. Now I am washing couch covers towels and a load of clothes I vacuumed. Awww poor bird. Did one of the cats get it? I guess it could have flown in but that would have been hard not to see.

I am going to guess that Michi brought it in, dead, so it didnt fly in.My house is only clean the day I clean and maybe the next day or two…..I have to keep it up

Good morning Bella Buds and happy Monday to you. We are leaving for Somerset about noon, I have a dermatology skin check. I don’t really need to go but insirance pays most of it so might as well. Then I will be an established patient and it will be easier to get in if/when I have a real concern. We will go to Walmart and I’m going by Honda dealer and ask about the leaks they mentioned. Good Morning Bellas its a cool 55 this morning and some fog its cloudy the sun is trying to break through. Good morning Sunshine. That little Jade! She wanted to give her Mom a present (or bribe?). So you have 3 tiny eating machines! Do you think you will find more eggs? Oh yes, outdoor jobs are more fun than inside, especially for you! But you have backup if the weather is bad. The rain so far has missed us but just a little north had 2 inches this morning. I imagine we will still get rain.
