Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. It was good, even Jo said so. The beans are green string beans, I like them. The bean inside the pod is white, and I guess the “runner” part is the type of bush it grows on, but I don’t know that.
Oh because you said white I thought the bean was white like white asparagus-most bean seeds are white the ones I plant are white I was confused😜Jo liked it👍 it had to be very good😋
The “white” is just the name of the bean. There is a bean called brown stick beans that the inside bean starts out looking white but after it is cooked it turns brownish, hence its name. Dried pinto beans have some color to them even before they are cooked, but turn browner after cooking. I don’t know if the bean is white before it is dried. I’ve never seen pinto beans in the pod, just dried or cooked.
Since I’ve never seen pinto beans that had not been dried my curiosity was piqued. I bet people don’t often buy or use pinto beans in the “edamame” stage.
Cooked pintos are popular down here so I wondered why I’d never seem them still white.
I love refried pinto beans but I love the whole beans cooked like cowboy beans😋

It sounds like its called White for the bean seed, bush bean seeds are white, that’s what I planted, pinto beans are tan just like how the look in the bag
i don’t know how or why they name beans. But as you said before, a lot of beans have white beans inside the pod. The farm store has several varieties of beans, all green on the outside, white on the inside, but with different names.
Y’all just call things different from us yanks up here, like runner beans are pole beans here or string beans
My Dad raised pole beans. They have a similar taste to half runners but the pod was more flat where the half runners are more rounded. I like both beans.

Good Morning Bellas its a raining morning was laying in bed listening to the rain, rolls of thunder flashes of lighteningnice and snuggled in under the covers Jade sleeping at my feet then she woke up😶 I’m now up have coffee, listening to the news-its like the National Enquirer can’t make this stuff up yet its happening😜 I will have rain and storms all day, bet we have gotten a inch of rain, Will do inside cleaning today, Oh Joy, NOT. I got home about an hour ago. Stopped by Walmart and picked up a submarine sandwich for supper. Just finished eating my half of it. It was pretty tasty. I had an appointment with my doctor this morning, just a routine appointment to check on me and how I’m doing with all my different medicines and problems. Haha. He had me do an oxygen test to make sure I’m breathing okay. Had to walk around the place for about 6 minutes and see what my oxygen level was. Hey Debbie! I haven’t had time to check for hail damage on the roof. I did notice today that none of my trees, in the backyard, were damaged, my pear tree and Aspen trees. I’m thinking it was maybe only my spring snow crab in the front yard. But I will check all that out tomorrow hopefully. I was at the doctor’s office when I saw the Monarch. The paper mystery? once my brother had his car serviced before we went north-we were on the road then there was this smell coming into the car? so pulled over opened the hood and there was a smoking Mcdonalds coffee cup and a half eaten breakfast sandwich, it had started to burn. A guy at the shop left his breakfast on the engine and it started cooking it😳I could see forgetting a cup but I would of eaten the sandwich😂
I just saw the coverage about the millions of honey bees that are all lost and out of sorts after a vehicle they were being carrying in had an accident. In Texas. What a tragic mess that is. They are just so manic and confused. 😭

I can just imagine! They are so close knit and so dependent on what each other does. Now no one knows what to do and they are going everywhere, into the trees, into the water, everywhere. Yes, poor babies.
