Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Jade and I are back inside, I down sized today and got rid of some old pots they were in bad shape they were ones I curb picked over the years, it was hard to part with them almost took one out of the recycling but used will power and closed the lid to the bin. Thawing out a pork chop for dinner lost track of time. I’m glad y’all had a nice visit. He must not have known you yelled at him. He seems like a nice guy, maybe he was surprised his cats went after the rabbits. Boy the cats are smart, they have their own language.
He’s feeding a cat that’s been hanging around for a week, he said he put the cat on face book. I told him to put it on Nextdoor too. He said he can almost pet it, he’s going to try to get it in a crate and take it to be scanned for a chip. Did you know cats don’t meow at each other? they use body language. They meow at us because we talk🤔
He is a nice guy then, I’m glad you didn’t confront him.
I’m on the fence still. There’s some under lying arrogance there I picked up on.

Howdy-do BellaFam 💖 What a day! So humid; i was drowning. Was able to get Chuck out the door 30 mins earlier than usual; so we made good time. Oh that was funny Pam. So we’re the Trojans Chuck’s? You could have added to the merriment. I can understand why someone might want to buy their supplies of such things like this instead of in person, especially if it was a female wanting to be stocked in her purse or at home “just in case”. You made a quick trip to Pueblo if you got home in time for lunch. Hope the headache leaves quickly.

Our friend Matt took us to lunch at the new Chinese buffet today and then stayed to visit. It’s hot here and I am full now….
