Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. A contingent of World Central Kitchen has also arrived; the ones not in Venezuela. “Fire Weather Warning” still up for our area. Good morning Bella Buds. Another hot one, 87 in the shade already. I’ve already been busy, at least for me. I had to call a bank to get on my online banking account, she helped me, and I balanced the account. I’ve started a small laundry load, fixed Casey’s treat for the afternoon. Seems I’m waking up earlier. I ran out of time yesterday to cook my cabbage so I guess I’ll do that today. Maybe place a small Kroger order. Enjoy the day.

Had a small amount of rain last night streets still wet, can see dark clouds to the north of me, storms are that way not sure if I will get any here? Good morning…my sister left yesterday…was trying to remember what we did..I know we went to a restaurant with a friend, a little cafe, just us, and ice cream with our mom..seems like there was something else, though. The first few days I was petsitting so mostly she just came at night, played with the dogs, hung out. I’m not sure what I’m doing today, will have to check my list. Yesterday watched some of the Cubs game, good one..they won 23-3 😀
