Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. So DC evacuated the area for 2 hours. Oh pretty song CNN. Bridge over troubled water…….. anyway now we got to listen to the pres before we can see the DC fireworks and that is supposed to be a long speech.

All the boom boom boom is getting on my nerves. Jo shut the drapes so I hear the noise, can’t see the colorful stuff unless I get up and stand at the door. Ain’t worth it.

They never run out. And I have plenty of rock songs to blast in their ears in the wee hours, after they are all tired out and want to relax. If they don’t catch their house on fire.

I agree Pam. Somehow I have not heard the patriotic songs I love, have not heard the military songs. Seems I’ve missed the good stuff. When someone said so and so is singing, by the time I changed the channel they were done.

Watching the CNN show. Pretty good.
