Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Oh Yummmm 😋 One of the bigger farms in Pueblo, Mauro, has a bakery & they have rhubarb pies. Everything they make is off the charts delish!
I would love it. It is hard to find just a rhubarb pie. They always want to ruin it with strawberry or other fruit.
I know, they usually offer both; i always take the plain
I won’t buy it if it is not plain rhubarb. Just don’t like them. I don’t like the rhubarb too sweet. I always use more rhubarb and less sugar than my recipe calls for. I like to taste the sourness. My favorite way to eat rhubarb is frsh and dip it in salt.😋 When we would stay with my grandparents in the summer we would take the salt shaker out to the garden, pull the rhubarb and put salt in the palm of our hands and dip it.
My grandmother made rhubarb crisps that way too; Dad and my sis prefer it raw with salt
