Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Just took a shower and while I was in the shower I kept hearing things? thought it was Jade playing with her ball, But what I was hearing was thunder a storm went through when I was in the shower
When I went to get my Kroger pickup order yesterday I noticed they were grilling ribs on a charcoal grill. You have to go inside to pay and bet them outside and I wasn’t dressed for the public. So this afternoon Jo said she was going to Kroger for some things, so I gave her money to pick up ribs for me. I haven’t had that to happen. But I do have a lot of people help me if I am using my walker or am on a scooter. I forgot to mention Jo was struggling a bit trying to carry my ribs and her groceries. A lady came, took the ribs and carried them to her car.

I think the “pay it forward” thing is so great! I do it sometimes at drive-thrus. I ask at the window what the bill is for the person behind me, and then pay for it, and by the time they get to the pay window, I’m leaving. It feels so good!
I’m going to dye my hair, it needs perking up, I don’t think the inspector is going to ask me any questions, I told the fire men what I knew. I will be back later

Goodness action in the neighborhood all of a sudden there’s 2 fire trucks and a woman who lives across the street was standing out in her drive way and was crying so I went over to ask if she needed any help. Turns out her back deck was on fire, she had just been out there to put cushions on the out door furniture. 😳😳😳🤬🤬. This is horrible! Oh poor woman just horrible. Those people got mad and did this. What else could it have been. I guess we all should get cameras to watch our places, and proof of what happened. Not that it matters, but was the woman upset about the fireworks because of fear of fire, maybe it was too late, Noise? So the fireworks were last night and the fire was this afternoon. So the fire wasn’t set off last night. Good grief.
She has PTSD from loud noises the fireworks really scare her, she said it really hard for her hearing them go off and so close, she asked the people to stop-so all of a sudden today her back deck is on fire, She was shaking so bad and crying, she’s a larger woman I hugged her the best I could, I have no idea what was figured out about the fire, but for the fire investigator to come they thought it was suspicious

Its very spooky Pam, there has been problems in the past with house that was lighting the fire works last night, and a group of neighbors got together and complained to the city, police about things going on last July this happened when I was up north last year. I’m glad she was home and the fire was contained to the deck. I know you would have called the FD but by the time you saw it, called, trucks got there the damage would have been a lot worse. I’m sure she is glad you are across the street.

Hi Pam I love the idea of the super soakers! And that people are doing the right thing in lieu of the fires. I’ll probably watch everything but the David Muir special. And that is because I’m taping it all. That way I won’t miss any of it. Can’t watch anything for 24 hours. Gotta cook, eat, shower, this and that. ‘So I’ll start at the beginning and watch it when I can until it is all seen. Sorta like Tom Hank’s’ Americas.

Don’t blame you Pam. I just want to be sure I don’t miss any of it. It may be hard though to be sure I know what is watched and not watched. I had that trouble with the French Open. Wimbledon has not been as hard to get it right.

Hi Julie! We always did water balloon fights too; so much fun. Mom usually cheated by grabbing the hose! 😏 Since both Lexi/Levi have July b-days, Chelsea has buckets full of water balloons available; water-guns to go with the inflatable pool she rents.
