Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Back from my walk went to Mcdonalds, the house is hot inside so I turned on the AC for a bit will turn it off after the sun goes down, and open the windows up to let in the night air. I have heard no fireworks yesterday they were lighting them off while it was still light out

Nephew Keegan hates being the goalie. When the kids are little, they have to rotate positions. He has a 2-year scholarship to play for Heartland Community College in IL. He loves that he never has to play goalie again 😄
My son didn’t like it either when he had to play goalie. Is this his first year at Heartland?
He’s coming up on his 2nd. He’s playing semi-pro in Colo Spgs this summer — as long he doesn’t get paid, Coach says it’s allowed. He’s really having fun.
That will be such a good experience for him. Will you be to go to some of the games?
Probably not; the Springs is 2 hours away; that’s a long way to go for this old lady to sit in the heat
In IL soccer is a fall season and have sat freezing at many soccer games. My son did play in a summer traveling team and we sat in many of HOT games. The things we do for our kids.😝
😂 That’s the real joy of being just the Auntie … there were a couple games where the wind almost took my head off, Most of the fields here don’t have restrooms and it gets mighty uncomfortable,
