Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Judy and I stopped at Walmart yesterday I needed a new window blind, got a blind and its the wrong size will have to return it, but I got a h2o melon😋
Oh yum. I got a watermelon waiting for me to cut. I’m waiting because I got some other fruit that needs to be eaten first.
I need new kitchen curtains.
I’m going to go cut it up😋 its just a small one, no seeds-but Idon’t minds seeds, they watermelon had to grow from a seed. its been genetically modified. I like fruit that’s natural with seeds😘

Seedless fruits are higher in sugar
I like high sugar in fruit. Fruit is still healthy if a little sweeter.
Because of diabetes my Mom can’t eat seedless grapes, they have to high of a sugar content, its not that its sweet the sugar is bad
I’m not diabetic but I understand about your Mom. I really didn’t know it was that bad for diabetics. I know diabetics who sometimes eat desserts with WAY more sugar than any grapes.
Gapes have 23 grams of sugar per cup and that’s really high

I accidentally bought a seedless w/m this time. Haven’t had one before. Hopefully it will taste like it’s supposed to?
Most of the watermelons around here are seedless. Let me know if you think the seedless is different. It will be hard to tell because I just buy seedless, but watermelons can always vary a lot in quality

The taste will be good, but I think the ones with seeds taste better. They taste like the old fashioned h2o melon from my childhood

Aw, that’s too bad, Julie. 😕 It’s hard to get the right size of blinds. Have to have exact measurements of EVERYTHING! I never save the wrapping or stickers when I buy a new one, so I’m always lost when i have to get a new one.
I have weird sized windows this is a old house, the next size up they had was way to big, all they had was 2 sizes the one I needed was the size in-between, I have the receipt so I can return it. Maybe they don’t make the size I need anymore?
You might have to order one from a specialty shop.
Maybe or go to a home goods store, they carry more. I think I got this last one from Home Depot
I hope you don’t have to go thru a lot of trouble.
Home depot will cut to size to make it right size horizontal but not length
HD will cut 2 size

There was a big hill and to the left were some trees where most people were sitting we sat in the sun, but a nice breeze and we were by the misting tent so we would get a cool mist with the wind so it was nice there were lots of vendors, a beer tent and food
You had a great place and I know a fun time.
And I saw people I knew😍 I almost tipped over in my chair being on the hill, it wasn’t comfortable sitting on a angle
Oh dear you should got off that hill. Was the hill more sideways to your chair?
It had me leaning to my right, had to really work not to keep leaning, I could of moved but then I wouldn’t of been with the people I was with. I got up and walked around looked at the vendors a couple of times to rest my back. Camping chairs don’t keep your back straight, the bottom half .
The leaning would have been easier if it had been front to back but I can see why sidewise was harder.

They will be green before they are ripe and they are so good fried.
Nothing like fried green tomatoes, 😜 but fried eggplant tastes similar. IMO.

Good Morning Bellas, last night was horrible fireworks were so loud and went on for hours it was 10x’s worse than the 4th they weren’t lighting off pretty fire works it was the loud canon ones😠 it was over kill, you light off 2 or 3 but to put on a show for hours they started at 8 and went to 12:00 how do I know the times because it woke me up😱Need to go make coffee and feed Jade😍
Good morning Sunshine. I’m so sorry about the all the fireworks last night. That is really bad! What do people think? They certainly don’t care. They probably like to torture kittens, people like that. Does Madison have any noise restrictions? If it had continued past midnight I would have called the police. Wonder if any of the people were involved with your neighbor’s fire? I just don’t really understand why people enjoy the booming. I can understand the pretty part. I think it would be better if we just went to drones.
I was going to call the police and then it finally stopped-maybe someone told them to stop, the fireworks were coming from down the street across the creek, they were shooting them off in this direction, I could feel my bed shake with the booms, I’ve yet to got out side and look for trash from the fire works, there’s usually card board canisters that come down after the explosion and paper

I just went out and looked didn’t see anything the street cleaner went by so it might of picked up stuff? I don’t know?
