Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. We saw a tiny kitten outside. Jo went out there with dry food but said loudly to come get it and it ran. Then it got dark and we couldn’t tell if he got it. Next thing Maciewas all alert and the kitten was on the front porch, came and looked in the door so I went and got wet food and took it out and put it on the porch. well, just keep it then…I did that and DH wasn’t thrilled at the time, we already had plenty of cats…he got used to it and loved them…if you want it to be outside you’ll have to get a shelter for winter.
I would like to just adopt the kitten.

If it had a Mother it would be following the Mom around. I think its someones kitten that got out? maybe from the new neighbors?
We don’t have any new neighbors. I don’t know but my gut is the kitten was feral and lost its mother.

Well the tub and shower was clean till Jade went in it while itwaswet and covered it with fur🙄 She was in the tub to play with her balls I took them out to clean😂 This cat gets brushed everyday, the amount of fur was unreal, it was easy to whipe up
😁. Cats prefer not clean.
She cleans her self, she wakes me up cleaning herself when she sleeps with me😂
They prefer themselves clean but nothing else!
