Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good beautiful morning Bells, I get to release 2 Monarchs today-they revealed them selves this morning they are drying their wings right now I will give them another hour or so and then get to see their flight off into nature I don’t know if they are male or female? its a good day😘 I’m watching the Tour De France for the cyclists and the beautiful country side 😍
HI Julie…I’ve seen one monarch here, we always have a few in my buttterfly garden.
Me to Lynn just one I keep checking my milk weed for eggs and caterpillars found one egg and a caterpillar yesterday will captive raised these too. There’s so many ants on the milkweed and they eat the caterpillars and eggs. Captive raising them gets them to a butterfly so then they can make more butterflies-some people are against doing this let nature take its course. But I like getting them to butterfly stage if I left them they would just be eaten

‘Enjoy the farmer’s market and stores. It is fun to go to a farmer’s market. One of these days I’m going to het out earlier and go to the farmer’s market in the adjoining county. I’ve never been to it but I know it is a good one.
Another busy day for me. I don’t know how i manage to find so much to do, but I’m getting tired of it. Whew!!! I’m really tired, and I’m going to bed. Haven’t spent any time on TV or a thing fun all day. Tomorrow will be better. And more fun!!! 😅😍 sweet dreams to all!
