Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hi everyone! 🙂☺️ I am finally sitting down. July has been a busy month for me, for some reason. Yesterday was filled with the little errands you don’t remember until you are already out and about doing other stuff. I am going to take a break for about a week, I think. My hip muscles are still painful. Praying they get better soon. Debbie, i hope the weather is okay there. I’m watching it. That is so cool about the 2 royals watching tennis together. Oh no Debbie!!! I’m so sorry that happened! I will tell you right away if I ever plan on taking a break from chat — I promise! About 10 degrees cooler than it has been; only got to 90. Been watching World Cup; England vs Norway; good game; well matched. Talked to Kitty, she still can’t eat, but she can finally talk after getting 3 teeth pulled and the bone grafts done on Monday.
