Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. It might and the humidity won’t make it any better just pushes it lower to the ground and holds it there

Good morning Bella Buds. I sure slept last night. When I go to bed at 11, I usually play around on my cell phone on Facebook reading, play a couple games of solitaire. Helps me to relax my brain, clear thoughts and in about 45 minutes turn over and go quickly to sleep. Last night I fell asleep holding the cell phone. I think it was fairly quick. you are 74, its pretty nice here that’s the temp outside again today 90’s for us too-I woke up in a panic the smell of the smoke I thought something was on fire here then I remembered where the smell was coming from
Can you imagine the people who are close to the fire?

Temp? My thermometers say 85 in and out. The back thermometer is probably in the sun and it is 104.

Out break in Florida a new variant of Feline Parvo Virus is killing kittens but also adult cats it comes on fast death is fast. Many shelters are having problems with the spread of this virus
Sad.
This is why animals need their vaccinations-you wouldn’t have a out break like this any feral cats outside they just speard it

Taking aq break hydrating its hot wearing a mask but I have not had one mosquito bite, thing the mask is holding in the carbon deoxide and its not drawing mosquitoes-might be the thing to not get mosquito bites? if they can’t find you they can’t bite you👍
hmm, interesting…I know they seem to like women more..and certain blood types..they love me! I mostly get bites in the evening though
Jo and I can both be outside at the same time. I will get multiple bites, she won’t get any! Maybe I am just full of more hot air. 😁
