Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA

Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.

There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

Hello…drank iced coffee, watered flowers, washed a few dishes…one thing that is good about being an adult is…eating ice cream for lunch or dinner..or both!!

She says seeing is fine, but the eye feels big or swollen. It doesn’t look swollen so I think that is just the sensation.

Yes I saw people walking their dogs, I saw one guy who walks his dog with his 3 year old daughter,he turned around and went the other way when he saw the smoke at the end of the street. I waved at him wearing my mask.Maybe he got a clue to go back home?
